What are you doing to Be in SHAPE?

So often, women are busy caring for everyone: children, husband, parents, and co-workers among others that they forget to take care of themselves. They often develop that superwomen complex.  "A woman with a Superwoman Complex constantly needs to prove that she is smart, secure, strong and self-sufficient as defined by Urban Dictionary."  As we approach the holiday season, it is time that you slow down and change things in your life. Let's be in SHAPE!

Be in SHAPE

S is for Sisters.  Women need to surround themselves with supportive sisters that will give them emotional support, tell them the truth, and have their backs.  You do not have to do everything yourself.  Call on your sister friends when things get tough.
His for a Heart to Heal.  Let us love and support each another and give each other permission to make mistakes and laugh at our imperfections. That's when true healing begins.
 Ais for our Awesomeness.  Let your confidence show.  Put on your best smile and take on the world one step at a time.  You are awesome when you get enough rest, eat healthy, and kick the stress.
 P is for Patience and Purpose. Patience is a virtue.  Stay focus on outcomes, recognizing that it does not have to happen yesterday.  Take a deep breath and purpose your day in small increments. 
E is for Endurance.  Being in shape takes Endurance.  Slow down, exercise your right to have some "Me" time, workout a strategy to meet your goals while enjoying your life. The key is to stay charming, well put together, while working a pair of heels.

Lol...this brings to mind my experience with the nails you can buy at the drug store and glue on yourself - a painful experience that didn't even last one day. I'm still discovering who I am and like those fake nails it isn't always comfortable.
